Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM

Canon EF 50mm f / 1.8 STM is an upgrade of Canon EF 50mm f / 1.8 II. It is still built in plastic but is considerably more stable and the camera mount has been upgraded to metal. An increase from five to seven apperature blades has given a more beautiful bokeh. The focus motor has been replaced for the benefit of the STM type. I use this lens for portrait. I think 50mm on a crop camera gives nice portraits. The price of 150 Euro for a new lens feels like a bargain. Now the toy stamp is gone.
